The following process outlines how 1543AD will work with you and your organization to define, implement, and deploy your SharePoint site.

Analysis & Design
Before the servers and SharePoint services are configured, it is crucial to determine exactly how your organization will leverage SharePoint. Collaboratively, we will identify audiences, information, features, and functions that will be part of your SharePoint site. As part of this process we will further explore example SharePoint sites and introduce you to built-in SharePoint features and functions. Ultimately, upon completion of this phase, we will present you with a site flow diagram that illustrates all parts, sections, and pages of your SharePoint site, as well as a detailed requirements document that will define features, functions, accessibility, and security roles.

Implementation
Once we have defined what your SharePoint site will look like, we will commence site setup. This process includes creating your sites, applying appropriate branding treatments, creating standard lists, implementing a user security model and creating users. Additionally, we will work with you and your organization to assist with information and document migration as needed. Once the site setup is complete, we will review the site with you and make revisions as necessary.

Training & Deployment
The true success of your SharePoint site comes from user utilization. Proper training and awareness throughout your organization is imperative. We will provide two training sessions. The first session will be catered to a smaller group of 1-3 administrators or trainers within the organization. This session will focus on day to day maintenance and administration of the site. This includes adding and removing users, creating new sub-sites or workspaces, list maintenance, and additional topics.

The second session will be catered to a large audience with focus on general usage. This session can be held at your facility in a large conference room, or at our seminar facilities in downtown Minneapolis. Additionally we can arrange for a WebEx broadcast of this session.

Ongoing Support & Development
Undoubtedly, you will uncover additional uses and applications of SharePoint technology within your organization once you begin using your SharePoint site. 1543AD will gladly assist you with additional development and customizations outside the scope of this project on a time and materials basis. Pre-paid hourly services can be purchased in 10 hour increments.
